1. What we provide

ToolBox is a free collection of browser-based utility tools — text utilities, developer tools, calculators, generators, and unit converters. The tools run entirely in your web browser using standard web technologies. With the single exception of the QR Code generator (which sends your input to a third-party image API, as disclosed in our Privacy Policy), nothing you type or paste into a tool is transmitted to us or stored anywhere.

The Service is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not place any feature behind a paywall.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. In particular, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or impair the Service, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the website or its infrastructure without authorisation.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service in a way that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• Reproduce, resell, or redistribute the editorial guides and written content on this site as your own without permission.
• Use the tools to process content you do not have the legal right to process.

3. No professional advice

Several tools — including the BMI calculator, loan/EMI calculator, compound interest calculator, and related calculators — produce results for general informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, financial, legal, tax, or other advice. You should not rely on any output from the Service when making decisions that affect your health, finances, or legal position. Always consult a qualified professional. 4. Accuracy and availability

We work hard to make our calculations and conversions correct and our written guides accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every result or statement is free of error. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any tool or the entire Service at any time without notice. If you believe a calculation is wrong, please tell us via the contact page and we will investigate.

5. Intellectual property

The ToolBox name, the site design, the source code, and the original written guides are the property of the site operators and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You retain all rights to the content you enter into the tools — we claim no ownership over it, and because it is processed in your browser, we never receive a copy of it in the first place.

6. Third-party services and advertising

The Service displays advertising provided by Google AdSense and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, products, privacy practices, or policies of any third-party site or advertiser. Google’s use of advertising cookies is described in our Privacy Policy. Your dealings with any advertiser or third-party site are solely between you and that party.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of profits, or decisions made in reliance on any tool output. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
